Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information held by Scottish Public Authorities. Members of the public already have the right of access to information about themselves under the Data Protection Legislation but this new Act greatly extends this right from 1 January 2005.

Guidance on the information that RVJB make available and how to access it is provided in our publication scheme. This document covers information that is avaialble in respect of both Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer of Renfrewshire Valuation Joint Board.
